Sr. Norma VaZquez
Hello. My name is Sister Norma Vazquez. I am from Mexico, D.F. I belong to the Daughters of Mary Immaculate of Guadalupe Congregation. I have been teaching for the past six years in elementary education here at Immaculate Conception School.
One reason I particularly enjoy teaching, and the challenges that go along with it, is the opportunity to connect with people--especially the children.
One of my passions is to have the experience to lead a child in order to succeed in life. It seems like we, as educators, are filling the gaps of a puzzle until we complete a beautiful masterpiece. The best satisfaction as a teacher is when I help a child pray, write, multiply, and promote them to increase self-confidence.
I really enjoy when I see children discover their own talents and share them with others; how they grow spiritually and academically; and how they discover their own world and live without any worries. That is really amazing! In fact, many times they have taught me how to simplify many situations in my life.
I really love to teach all the subjects but my favorites are Religion and Math. I love to help and support other people in all the possible ways I can.
