Ms. Yolanda Munoz
This is my first year teaching at Immaculate Conception School. This year I am teaching Math and Spanish to sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. I have been teaching for eight years. I taught at Benito Juarez High School in Pilsen. I was born in Mexico and arrived to South Chicago in 1969. I attended Phil Sheridan and Bowen High School. I am married. I have a son who is 22 years old and a daughter who is 21 years old. Both my children are in college.
I received my Bachelor from Chicago State University in Teaching. I just finished my Master from Concordia University Chicago in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL endorsement this year.
I am super excited for this school year. I love teaching and love my old neighborhood. I still live close by and you will see me every Sunday in Church with my family. Before teaching I also worked at the rectory of the Church with Fr. Michael Enright. I predict that this year will be a great year both for my students and for me.
